A huge THANK YOU to Luke and Becky for hosting such a wonderful farm tour at Half Moon Rising Orchard! It was a beautiful day spent exploring their urban farm just a few minutes down the road from the co-op.
We learned about berries, fruit, and nut trees, permaculture, native gardening, and the care that goes into growing food in harmony with the land.
Thank you to everyone who came out to learn more about where your food comes from. It was a lovely reminder of what Maple City Market is all about—supporting local growers, strengthening our local food system, and connecting our community with fresh, sustainably grown food. Their berries and fruit will be available soon at the market.
